Hello friends! Another month has almost passed us by. This was our original to-go goal for moving to Guatemala. God has been moving in the people around us, and we have slowly but surely been raising more support since moving to Illinois, as our last move before going to Guatemala. We have accepted that we will move in God’s timing, and our current plan is to move a couple weeks after getting to the 90-95% mark. We are about 30% of the way there now. We have been getting to know our new church here, and just became members at the start of this month. We are talking to churches now with the hopes of finding more partners.We will continue to build relationships with the confidence that God will bring the rain. 

Encounter Update:

-The school has now maxed at 24 full time students plus part-timers, until more staff arrive to help teach them. We had 20 at the start of the school year, and gained four more in the January quarter. 

-Last month we both spoke to the parents of the students during their quarterly zoom meeting. It was great getting to share about ourselves and hear updates from the school they were sharing with the parents. 

-We have been doing bi-weekly meetings with two of our co-workers.

-Caitlin’s been continuing to help make this year’s curriculum.

Prayer Requests:

-Praise for the 7% our support rose in the past couple months. 

-Praise that we have raised all our one-time costs already.

-Praise for the connections God is helping us make, and for the support networks God has brought into our lives.

-Please pray for us as we talk to churches in the upcoming month(s), that the Holy Spirit will move some of them into wanting to partner with us.

-Please pray that we will be able to balance all the tasks, events, God-time, worktime, and Kaylee time over the upcoming months.

-Praise that Kaylee seems to enjoy learning and using Spanish words!
