September 2025


	Hello friends! We hope your September has been a smooth month, but if it has been one of ups and downs, remember that it is only a season of our time here on Earth. For us, September has been a happy month. Bradley’s sister came to visit us over Labor Day weekend. Also, our church in IL, voted to be our sending church, and we are thrilled! We are spending the rest of the weekends this month visiting new churches! We are now able to stay on-campus at the school for this school year.That means that instead of the 100% we were trying to raise to move, we can frugally depart for Guatemala once we hit 80%. We will continue to fundraise once there, begin some of our Spanish courses at a language school in Antigua, and resume part-time working at Encounter. Full-time work would begin at the start of the 3rd quarter.
Encounter Update: -The students are now on their 2 week fall break. They finished strong in their 1st quarter. -There will be more full-time 4 year olds joining the school in the second quarter, and I was beseeched to come and help with their classroom as soon as possible. There is only one teacher for the littles right now. -Likewise, there is never an end of needs regarding electronic help; so Bradley is also highly anticipated by everyone else. -Caitlin is continuing to help create the next quarter’s curriculum before it starts,even as we continue fundraising here in the U.S.
	Prayer Requests: -Praise for the 55% we are now at, and pray we hit 80% quickly. -Pray we can find many more individuals willing to partner with us by Nov. -Praise over connections God is helping us make, and for the new supporters. We gained a couple more individual support pledges. -Please pray for us as we talk to churches in the upcoming month(s), that the Holy Spirit will move them to partner with us this year. -Please pray that we will be able to balance all the tasks, events, God-time, worktime, and Kaylee time over the upcoming months. -Praise that Kaylee seems to enjoy learning and using Spanish words!
