	-Hello friends! We have decided to go to Antigua, Guatemala for the month of July, regardless of how much funding we get between now and then. The school starts up in July, and we will be helping them get ready and letting Kaylee acclimate to Guatemala living. -In the course of May we gained another church pledge, for after we become partners with a sending church. -We also started the process of our hopeful partnership with our home church here in IL, to become our sending church. Our family volunteered at our church’s bike rodeo, and were happy to share Christ with our community in a fun way. Kaylee had fun too! -We gained some new prayer partners, God raised us up another percent in financial partnership as well.
Encounter Update: -This school year has come to an end! The children and parents get a two-month break now. Many families go back to the U.S. or Europe during this time to see their support partners and families. -The school will be transformed into a retreat-center guest housing soon. This was a decision the school made this past year, to help cover the monthly rent of the school property and to also help pay the part-time workers from Guatemala who have been hired there over the years. 	Prayer Requests: -Please pray for us as our church’s boards pray and discuss becoming our sending church. It will mean very much to us if that becomes a successful partnership. -Pray for us as we are going to reach out to more churches and individuals in the next month about becoming support partners with us soon or in a future year. - Please pray that God will squash any attempts Satan may use to slow us down or get in the way of God’s calling for us. Also, for our health to stay well for the next few months while we finish fundraising and travel to Guatemala.
